Pitch Bend
I'm guessing the beginning 3 minutes to 4 minutes weren't changed from the previously layout, but after was the newest version? Well, it doesn't matter much, since this melody makes up for anything that this song lacks.
First off, it's just joyful to hear a new version over the other, which I am still very fond of and I think that this songs is just a tad bit better then the previous one. Mostly because of that melody finally getting more room to work with. I don't think you understand how much I just love this song.
The beat, all of the melodies, the pitch bend, the Cordis-type synths/progression. It all just fits together in my point of view, and I couldn't of asked for a better song.
While it does lack in the mastering/sequence, everything else makes up for it :)
Author's Response:
Nearly everything from the old version was left unchanged. I didn't remake this song in any sense, I completed it. :)
You know, I may or may not understand how much you like it, but I'm certainly flattered if you don't think I do. :D This is the whole reason I completed and submitted it, after all - people liked the incomplete version enough to ask me to finish it, and eventually you all got to me. :P
And you know, one day I might go into the project file, set the peak to loop, pull out all the EQs and reset the volume levels, turn everything off, and start the mix from scratch introducing each element one by one until it all sounds good. Don't count on that happening, let alone a finished product, but you never know... ;)
Glad you like it this much Immune! Thanks for the review. :D

It's different then what I expected. I knew it was going to be GOA, but there's more different from this to your other GOA tracks, at least I think so. As usual, your pianos are awesome, and I just wish you would of had more more MORE! I mean, that's just coming fro ma guy who made the song based on the piano alone, that I want it flaunted :P
It's a pretty good length too, I was expecting something along 2 to 3 minutes. I like the part at around 4:00 a lot though, even though my headphones are experiencing some sort of glitch. You should of went on drugs to remix this like Concrete Head ^_^
THANK YOU, AND YOU ARE BETTER THAN ME!

WTF DUDE!
I think I remember you were working on this before? I was just thinking today, "man, I want some good ol' DnB from Zenon!". And here I sit listening to this, not just happy that it's a really badass DnB song, but the fact that is fucking SHAMAN PART THREE!
The only complaint was that I wanted you to use those instrumental strings more. But by golly, what an awesome song =)
Author's Response:
I was trying really hard to find a place in the middle of the song for an expansion on the strings at the introduction so I wouldn't have to use them for an outro, but I didn't wanna get rid of the vibe that you get going when you bring the drums in. I really should have used them again, but I just never got around to it :(
Thanks for yet another review, good sir. I was almost expecting one from you on this piece ;)

HAHAHAHAHA, this is funny. You remixed two songs that Zenon remixed. Don't tell Jadan, but I actually like your two songs more =O
Awesome song! For sho

This song would be soooooo much more awesome if the lyrics were in here. The song is literally one of my favorite sons ever, and it's just awesome enough for you to remix it. I love it when the melody starts fading in, just gives me chills =)

Quite a unique break you have going there. I love the phased notes that are VERY crisp and good to listen to. This is quite an unorthodox Trance song for NG, you don't usually et this kind of song here on NG. I honestly think it's a brilliant song and needs a HELL of a lot of love in the future.
One of my favorites here on NG ^_^
Author's Response:
Thanks Dj Immune :D
The unique break is kinda influenced from what I learned from the faster dance genres like Freeform and Trancecore, you would usually get breaks like that.
Thanks for the comment :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Nearly everyone I know has remixing this song, Zenon, Geier and now you! I would jump on the bandwagon, but I'm not known for doing that sort of thing. I'm going to give this review of mine my most brutal one, because this track has a lot of standards to live up to, and by your choice of genre to remix this under, it needs to be critiqued hard =)
First off, the intro is brilliant. Excellent bass and rendering of a well known melody to form itself around the melody later on. I mean, this intro is so amazing, that it gives the song a 10 itself no matter what, even if the song sucked throughout (which I'm not saying).
In fact, the whole song is brilliant, besides one thing that just turns me off, and I think you know what it might be... The lead synth. At first when you announced you were going to remix this and said it would be the best on here, I was stoked and excited to see what route you would take to make it different from it's previous titles.
I think I was so excited that I was expecting some truly original with the lead melody synth, but it turned out just the same(ish) as the previous song(s). Too me, the sort of vibrant and melodic feel that the intro brings in, the lead synth sort of counteracts it and sort of sounds like two sides fighting each other off.
Then again, I don't really imagine their could ever be a PoE remix without that sort of style of a synth, so given your priorities, I could understand why that synth is in there. Just that sort of a melody with that sort of a synth REALLY shouldn't be paired up with that beat, which is just outstanding.
Here's hoping the 8 Min + Trance songs this week get Top 5 =)
Author's Response:
Brutal review? Oh no. D:
Intro... well, I liked it too. :D Sounds like I'm getting good at those...
Yep, the lead... I can see where you're coming from there. I guess I partially wanted to make the song a bit more familiar to most of NG, rather than making it completely foreign. :\
At least you like the drums, though. XD
Thanks for the review! :D And yeah, that would be awesome. Like the week when Temple, Contrast, and Crisis Pt. 2 made Weekly Top 5, but better. :D Though it looks like I might be out unless I get constant fives from a whole bunch of people... XD Thanks for the review!

One of NGs best Trance tracks without a doubt. For some reason, I'm getting this Above & Beyond feeling from tracks on NGs tonight. They are one of my subtle favorite Trance groups of this age, and it's just nice to hear someone other than Pulstate accomplish that on here =D
The beat is phenomenal, a very good pre-melody beat, fuses well later on in the track. More uplifting track then I could ever make, I aim for the wicked and crisis ^_^
God damn, a piano. My favorite instrument, blends a very good quality into the song and now reminds me of Mike Foyle. I would of LOVED a sweeping moment in their on the break, where it would just be pads and piano, would of made me cry probably =D
Very inspiring tune and hope to hear more from you soon.
Def deserved Top 5
Author's Response:
Wow a 10 from Dj-Immune himself. I can honestly say I'm flattered. I'm not so sure about hearing more from me soon. I've been grinding my Trance wheel hard lately and I think I'll let it cool down and do some experimental stuff.
I'll have to try perfecting my Piano Trance style sometime then maybe I can make you cry. :D (Always been a goal of mine to make someone cry)

Ahhh, I remember how Milosz (synteza) started out Cool Blue like that. I love seeing the Original Mix get used more here, always makes the track look extra sexy too be honest =P
Onto the song, judging by the raindrops and breezy mist in the beginning, wasn't expecting such a sharp beat to come in like that. I would of preferred the plucks that came in soon after first, and maybe even take out the overused synth? It's not really needed in this song, which to me sounds to be way different then what that would qualify for.
Plus the song kind of feels faded and doesn't sound like it's a pure sound, besides in the beginning. I don't know if it's just my headphones or something, but that was just a minor issue.
As for the rest, it's pretty a solid track. I'm becoming a fan of Your Eyes more and more. Keep working hard =D
Author's Response:
Awesome, thanks for the review. For some reason the synthe I was using as the lead kinda grew on me. The (original mix) I just kinda felt like doing for the last two songs.
My EQing skills are not too sharp. You have the sound I've been trying to achieve in my past songs but still have yet to get there. I'll take everything you said into consideration if I ever rethink this song.
Thanks for the review.

I was actually planning on reviewing this b4 you sent the PM =P
I do get a somewhat feel from my work in here, only thing I don't see a hint from is the snares/drums for example. A little too light for my taste =P
The progressive beat is very good, very harmonic and engaging. Keeps you guessing and wondering what the Break/Melody might come out to sound like.
Once the break came in, and that melody started to enter, it was surprisingly good. Quite a different melody that I hear nowadays, but still not a melody that could get stuck in my head.
Once it basically goes from 3:00 to the end of the song, it fills in nicely. The song never really reached a climax (where as the melody interacts with the beginning beat, to sort of pump up and make the melody complete), instead it just builds up and then dies down. There's no in-between.
Quite impressive and could still use more work in some realms, but ultimately a satisfying song nonetheless.
=)
Author's Response:
Thanks for the review. The main part was supposely the climax, and that's pretty much all I can put for it right now. Otherwise it would sound somewhat cluttered. Glad you were satisfied :P Thanks again.
